Languages you can learn with us
At Custom-Made, we focus on the evolving needs of our corporate clients — many of whom are actively expanding into international markets.
While English remains the global lingua franca, several European and non-European countries still place great importance on doing business in their native language.
That’s why we offer tailored language training in:
German
In German business culture, respect for the native language and domestic market runs deep. German companies tend to prefer working with partners that are either registered in Germany or capable of conducting business in German. Speaking their language fosters trust, improves mutual understanding, and gives them a stronger sense of security in the business relationship.
French
The French are proud of their language, which for centuries served as the global language of diplomacy. If you’re planning to enter the French market, prepare for business communication to be conducted in French — English is not widely used in many industries and regions, and speaking French is seen as a sign of respect and commitment.
Italian & Spanish
While not as linguistically strict as the French or Germans, both Italian and Spanish professionals generally prefer to communicate in their native languages. Even basic conversational skills can go a long way in streamlining processes and building rapport with local partners.
Polish for Foreign Professionals
As many international companies invest in Poland and open new offices here, the need for Polish language training is growing. This often involves relocating employees — from frontline staff to mid- and senior-level managers.
Although English is the standard corporate language in most international and Polish-based firms, daily life becomes significantly easier for expats who understand and speak some Polish. That’s why many companies choose to sponsor Polish language lessons to support smoother relocation, faster adaptation, and better cultural integration.
We also offer training in two less commonly taught — but increasingly relevant — languages:
Norwegian
Polish companies — particularly those located near the Baltic Sea and operating in tech, renewable energy, engineering, or medical sectors — are increasingly partnering with Norwegian firms. Norwegians speak excellent English, and English combined with an understanding of Norwegian culture is usually enough for business communication.
However, when sending professionals — whether skilled technicians, healthcare workers, or field staff — to work on-site in Norway, speaking Norwegian becomes essential for everyday interactions, especially with local clients and individuals.
Chinese (Mandarin)
A growing number of Polish companies — especially in IT, manufacturing, and logistics — are now working with Chinese partners or trading with companies in China. Relying on English is often ineffective due to limited vocabulary, pronunciation challenges, and significant cultural differences.
For companies establishing offices in China or doing business in Mandarin-speaking regions of Asia, basic Mandarin skills are critical for smooth, respectful, and successful communication. We help teams gain practical language tools and cultural understanding to build lasting partnerships in one of the world’s most complex markets.
